Visit to Buea Prison

Concluded the year with a visit to Buea Prison, celebrating women and sharing messages of hope, reinforcing the belief in rehabilitation and the possibility of a brighter future.

Our team visited a local prison in Cameroon, focusing on encouraging women facing challenging circumstances. The visit aimed to provide emotional support, share prayer moments, and offer solidarity.

Donations to Buea Central Prison:

  • Sanitary Products: We distributed essentials like disposable pads, toothbrushes (4in1 packs), tubes of toothpaste, and bathing soaps to address a critical need for hygiene and well-being among the 74 women. We also gave extras for the men who may be over 200(we couldn’t cover all the men)
  • Clothes: Contributed clothing items to improve the living conditions of the women, providing them with comfort and a sense of dignity.
  • Baby Food and Diapers: Recognizing the unique challenges faced by mothers in prison, we supplied essential baby products to ensure the well-being of children born within the correctional facility.

Impact:

The impact of your support was profound and immediate:

  • Enhanced Well-being: Providing sanitary products, clothes, and baby essentials significantly contributed to the women’s and their children’s physical and emotional well-being.
  • Dignity and Encouragement: The visit and shared prayer sessions brought a sense of dignity and encouragement, reminding the women that they are worthy and fostering hope for a brighter future.
  • Community Support: Your support has enabled us to extend a caring community to these women, fostering a positive environment even within the challenging confines of the prison.
